GAME DESCRIPTION
- Definitions:
- King Bolola - A card game consisting of 24 rounds, generally referred to as a GAME. It is played with a 52-card deck.
- Each ROUND – is a name for a play conducted according to specific rules described below.
- DEALING – the process of distributing a set of cards to players for a round.
- DEALER – The player who is granted the right to choose the round (contract) and make the first move in that deal.
- Basic provisions:
- A game round is played by 4 Players
- Each Player receives 13 cards and plays independently throughout the round.
- The rank of cards in all rounds is in ascending order (two being the lowest, ace being the highest).
- Each Player must contract for 6 rounds during a Game:
- 3 negative
- 2 positive
- 1 Bolola round (negative or positive)
- The goal of the game is to score enough points to achieve the highest possible positive
balance. A game is considered:
- Won - for the Player with a positive balance
- Drawn - for the Player with a zero balance
- Lost - for the Player with a negative balance
- The game consists of negative and positive Rounds.
- During negative rounds, players try to avoid taking tricks that include cards corresponding to the description of the round, as each such trick results in a corresponding number of negative points.
- During positive rounds, players strive to take the maximum number of tricks: the accumulated points are counted positively.
- Negative Rounds and their Quantity in a Game
- No Tricks - 2 rounds
- No Boys - 2 rounds

- Choosing the same round by one player is allowed.
- The right to start the Game - to make the first contract of the Game and the first move belongs to the player with the highest rating in the group. In case of equal ratings, precedence is determined alphabetically.
- The right to the next move in each deal is granted to the Player who took the trick in the previous move.
- At the end of each round, the corresponding points are calculated and added to the cumulative total of each Player's previous round results.
- The subsequent play of each round (contract and first move) is started by the Player sitting next (clockwise) from the one who played the previous round.
- The Game is considered completed after 24 rounds are played.
- The play of each round is considered completed at the moment when its conditions are
